SEGRO, owner and manager of Slough Trading Estate, has teamed up with its partners at Slough Museum, Resource Productions and Salt Hill VR to create a unique and first-of-its-kind heritage trail across the Estate.

The Estate Heritage Trail provides budding explorers the opportunity to learn about local heritage and the town’s rich industrial history, while stretching their legs with a good walk.

The Trail takes visitors on a fun walk around 10 locations across the Slough Trading Estate, where history comes to life through a blend of storytelling and augmented reality. Vistors can simply scan the trail posters with a mobile phone to unlock interactive experiences that reveal the Estate's past, present and future.

Along the way, they will discover the phenomenal industrial boom that transformed Slough from the early 1920s to today. They will also learn how the Estate became Europe’s largest business community, creating thousands of jobs and became home to some of the UK's best-known commercial brands.

The trail is free and all visitors need is a thirst for curiosity and a mobile phone. The trail is now open and can be accessed by scanning the QR codes on the trail posters and watch the stories of the Estate come to life through interactive augmented reality experiences.

The Estate Heritage Trail is now open until end of 2026 and you can get a copy of the map and more information at www.etaslough.co.uk
